If anyone has a .303 British rifle and wants to turn it into a
a varminter, I suggest reloading the cases with Hornady .312" 100
grain HP/XTP bullets.  Use the data for 123 grain or 150 grain
bullets.
For the .30-06, the Speer 100 grain JHP Varminter, or the soft
nose (half-jacket) 100 grain Plinker are excelent flat-shooting
bullets that make tremendous cavities on the target medium.
