TS> Dare I ask what you think of Peavey marketing a separate line of

That sounds like Peavey-sleazy to me.
If you enjoy hearing folks bash Peavey, you dared to ask the right
person! I have no respect for any of the Peavey gear, no matter
what group it is targeted at. I have heard nothing but negative things
about that company from folks that really care about quality. A lot
of folks have been heard to say something like "but a CS-800 is a
great amp; rugged and inexpensive. You can weld with the output."
This immediately triggers a negative response from me, since I would
never buy Peavey, even if they made good gear. I can't imagine what
those folks did to their ears, to be able to listen to Peavey, but
I see visions of Q-tip ear injuries.
TS> Peavey tries to impress us that such product really is superior in

Yes, and they gold plated a recent model of the CS-800! Didn't I laugh
when I ran into one of those! Must be for those "golden ear" folks.
Take care.
... If it's professional.............it ain't Peavey!
