subject: Tire Pressure

A short note on tire pressure.
I use my mountain bike for patroling our town parks. Most of the
time I am riding on either hard pack ground or paved roadways. I
go get into a little gravel or cinder paths but mostly the other
types of roadways listed. I am a slightly heavy person at 234
pounds and do not ride too agressive due to my heart problems.
I have been running at the tire capacity of 65 pounds and have
found that I can get around the best at that pressure but I seem
to have a hard ride.
Can anyone make a suggestion here. Also I now have two good years
on the bike tubes. Should I think about replacement? I have not
had any problems but I don't want any either. I am also wondering
if I should look to the puncture proof tubes?
