What makes a good ATM candidate is that he is guaranteed to like the
material artifacts of the craft. That's mirror blanks, laps, tile tools,
grits, Foucault testers, Couder Masks, the whole nine yards. Put a pile of
that stuff up on a table somewhere, and watch 'em gather. A laptop running
some analysis or design software is extra points. The scope's a good
start.
Talk up a storm, but don't forget that this is a hands-on crowd. Works
for me. 'Nuff said.
Bill T.
