CB> As far as the Original Series Movies are concerned:
CB>
CB> It's a toss-up between the Wrath of Khan/Search for Spock saga (these two
CB> are best viewed almost as if they were one movie) and The Undiscovered
CB> Country.
CB>
CB> As far as the TNG series movies are concerned:
CB>
CB> First Contact is far better than Generations is.
CB>
CB> But, I think as far as all of them together are concerned, I think that
CB> Generations is the worst out of the whole lot of eight done so far.
CB>
CB> Though,
CB> with Generations, there are a few segment that work great in and of
CB> themselves, and then there are segments that don't work at all in and of
CB> themselves. When all of it is thrown together ... it just didn't work
CB> quite right for some strange reason. Too many completely different story
CB> threads that really don't have much to do with each other and/or are
CB> probably not really needed in the first place and/or distract from the
CB> main plot. The problems with Generations were not the actors' and
CB> actresses' fault, it was the fault of the writers mostly.
So which one is the absolute best in your opinion (for the pole)? I think
ou
have to watch 2-5 all in a row. That same story is continued through all of
them. Not as much as with 5, but a few lines in it lead you to believe that
they just got the EA, showing that it is right after ST4.
