Hi Wendy,
It's so hard to be so active and then be so restricted. Just be sure
to take good care of yourself.
WA> I've been working on a pillow my mom is helping
WA> me make. My secret pal sent me a piece of fabric
WA> in January. It was printed like a quilt with
WA> stitches in places and buttons printed on the fabric.
WA> (I collect buttons) I gave it to my mom to make a
WA> pillow for me (I hate to sew, except for x-stitch).
WA> She cut off the outside piece to use on a banner
WA> she is making for me to sew some of my buttons on
WA> and put quilting batting (I think that is what it's
WA> called) behind the fabric pieces and safety pinned
WA> it to the fabric.
The pillow sounds lovely. And so does the banner. Sounds like you'll
be busy for awhile attaching the buttons. :-)
WA> I have it now to do all the hand stitching over the
WA> printed lines and to add buttons from my collection
WA> for the decorative pillow and then my mom will sew
WA> the pillow together. It is a nice change from some
WA> of my other crafts.
Know what you mean. I guess that's why I have several things
I like to do. Keeps me fromgetting bored. (But it also keeps
my frustration level up because I end up with multiple projects
in each craft and no time to work on any of them :( ).
WA> Anyway, it is a project which is keeping me busy
WA> and in one place so it doesn't stress my energy
WA> level.
Good for you. I hope and pray you get better real soon. :-)
