Hello Bob! Replying to a message of Bob Stout to Fidonet C Echo: BS> quite a bit of interest in it (I may even have to learn it! ;-) Once BS> word starts to spread, I'm hoping the Java, Perl, and D code will BS> start to come in as well. I'm not entirely sure about perl ... I write about 90% of my code in perl nowadays (and I only write about 10% of the code I used to), and would say that if the perl docs don't explain it, and CPAN doesn't have it, then you're doing something new ;-) If you write something in perl that you want to share with others, usually the best way is to put it in a module, put it on CPAN, and everyone can use it then. One of the best things about perl, IMO... Darin ---* Origin: Tanktalus' Tower BBS (1:250/102) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 250/102 99 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
