Its a serious proposal about something that seriously needs to be done,
securing the borders and criminalizing illegal entry.  Military/Guard
people know how to shoot, and they know how to create a barrier of land
mines.  We could create a moat of land mines around the tent city or we
could land mine and fence off areas of the border that are remote and cut
down on payroll costs for patrolling the border.  After the first few
ignore the warning signs and get blown up, they will stop trying to cross
those areas.
