A good plan.  My mother never warned me about women but my father sort of
did.  He was subtle about it all.  In my younger days I was under the
impression that most, if not all, women were caring, loving, mothering kind

Yeah.  I managed to escape all those but it could have happened.  Now?  Not
likely given my born again virgin status.  I am not avoiding women but I
haven't met any recently that will put up with me, deseased or not.  I am a
tad too rough around the edges and most of the women who like me tend to be
quite a bit older then me.  I am not sure why that is.  I am guessing that
the older single women (65+) like to mother me and appreciate the things I
can do for them (nonsexual).  They also find my slant on life quite funny
whereas women my age tend to take things far too 'serious' or perhaps they
don't see anything here they want.  Doesn't bother me anymore but it used
to.
