Thanks for your thoughts. I tried to read Dune on two separate
occasions. I really tried. But both times I found it quite dull.
If the sequels are worse, I could not imagine trying to wade through
any of them.
I have seen taglines attributed to "L. Long" and supposed he was
a Heinlein character, but that is all I knew about the situation.
