HAh! Two feet don't matter,it's the ballast! I'm carrying 200lbs of
...ahhh...lead. And It's sort of movaable ballast( just don't be in a
hurry and I can move it.) I actually didn't go sailing this last
weekend( yes,the shame of it)but I have an excuse. I was out trolling
for fillies. Well actually it's closer to dragging for them since it
would be closer to the implication. I am glad though since I didn't have
any winds locally and would have had to drive to Yale lake to sail or to
Skamokawa. Either was farther than I wanted to go. I'm gonna be on the
willamette this weekend(i hope). Still working on that new boom so it
won't be ready but I will try and get out even if I'm only pushing the
oars.Did I tell ya that "Kestral" can be rowed almost as fast as she
will sail downwind without a boom? She is a thing of beauty sitting
there tied to the pier. I must figure out a way to do graphics on this
thing so I can show her off one day. So,ya readyu to race an old man?
