I think my biggest gripe around here is that if a person wants to be
on the shore of the Hudson, they have to cross the tracks. There's a
whole lot of fisherfolks over there who don't wish to purchase a boat.
Also, the ill-mannered fish refuse to swim and feed at the few places
you can "leagaly" cross the tracks. Railfans don't seem to have a
problem but the Metro-North cops seem to be giving the fishermen all
kinds of trouble if they're found on the shore side of the tracks.
Now, if one of these fishermen were to go to Poughkeepsie and purchase
a Metro-North ticket to New York City and then "missed" his train,
would he still be considered tresspassing if he were found sitting on
a rock 100 feet from the grade waiting for a nibble? :)
... Multitasking allows screwing up several things at once.
