subject: Hello

I'm really into music and computers. But I'm relatively new to using
omputers
for music. So here is my question: I'm looking for a sequencer program that
has some kind of visible notation (i.e., you can SEE the staff [staves] on
he
screen, like sheet music) that can be used along with MIDI or something like
that. Any suggestions? Please email me!!! Also: what kind of snyth do you use
with something like that? can you get a special jack that allows you to use a
guitar instead of a keyboard with the sequencer?
Finally, what's the difference between analog synth and any other kind of
synth.
BTW I'm asking all this stuff because I'm into industrial music, like Nine
Inch Nails, God Lives Underwater, Gravity Kills, and the list goes on....
I guess I should say: I use mac, so please tell me Mac programs.
THANX!!!!
