Hi Martin many thanks for your reply on the guitars, being in Melbourne
Australia, we get many brands of guitars from O/S's.
The local guitar shop had the Simon and Patrick also the A&L on sale(got a
flyer in the post), and was thinking of getting one of them as a knock around
guitar, like if I travel interstate or overseas, I can just toss it on the
plane or train with out worrying to much about it being damaged.
I prefer a good quality instrument, and the above seem to be good quality for
money, but undecided as the brand names I have not heard of.
I can go and buy a cheap Fender or Yamaha acoustic, but then I am always on
the look out for a good quality guitar at a good price.
It would be much aprecciated if you could help with information on the
Canadian guitars, mainly quality and value for money.
Take care.
Garry Lawson.
P.S. the guitars I own are Hohner Pro 71 (SG) lead, Washburn elec lead(lovely
neck on it), old Rickenbacker elec, and a Ibanez acoustic.
