David??? David!!!

Welcome back! Hope the weather was nice wherever you were. Actually,
I thought that perhaps the BBS that you use may have suffered the same
fate that a bunch of BBSs around here have lately - shut down......
As you may read, I finally got my VFP 5 and already have put my foot in
my mouth because of my anxiety. And I got a new 133 MHZ computer to boot.
VFP 5 is very different from anything I've ever used before. Boy, the
rinted
language reference manual is a lot thinner than my 2.6 one! The strange
thing is that a lot of books on VFP 3 are suddenly appearing at good
prices. At this rate, it'll be a year before I see anything on VFP 5 .
I just saw VFP 3.0 Unleashed today for $33 CDN (the US price is $49).
From the pictures in the book , 3 seems to resemble 5 enough for me
to buy it.
Anyways, I'm very relieved you're back!
