I doubt it would work, and I also think it's unnecessarily cruel.  The vast
majority of these people are coming here to work.  They send a large
percentage of what they earn home to their families.  This is a tremendous
help to political stability in Mexico.  I don't think we really want to
share a border with a country which is politically instable and can blame
all their problems on us.  We need a way to let in Mexicans who want to
work while simultaneously keeping out terrorists.
