I use NoScript for Firefox. I have been trying lately not to permit ajax.googleapis when I go to a website. If a page doesn't work if I hadn't allowed it yet and I really want to read what is on the page I will allow it temporarily. It seems that Firefox remembers what has already been allowed for one web site when I go to another web site. I have been Closing Firefox after I'm finished reading the web pages that required me to give an O.K. to view what is on their page(s), so when I start Firefox later it has forgotten the selections I told NoScript that were O.K. to allow earlier. I also close Thunderbird before putting the computer in Hibernate so TB won't remember the Password I enter for my Email account. I know I won't ever get a step ahead of anyone who would get access to this computer if was stolen, but I do try to keep a Half-Step ahead of them by not keeping my password active in TB when I'm done with it, until the next time I turn it on. Go ahead and laugh - this works for me. ...
