Yes, that's the usual usage.  Or, "bottoms up".

Naturally.  However I picked up that habit during my working career.  It
was commonly used amongst the 'green skins' and 'boys in blue', and still
is.

P.S. It was an interesting day's racing at the Gold Coast 600 today. More
to come tomorrow... the second half.  (Strange way to do things but it's
more of tourist show as well, I guess.)  It could get real entertaining if
the weather turns nasty, earlier than forecast for Monday.
