i do an awful lot of security related stuff... that includes reading
network traffic packets and dealing with various attempts of infestation
infiltrations... so yes, i do get deep into the thick of the shite at times
;)

oops! either that question has been removed or i mistyped the qid numbers
when i transcribed it from the one machine to the other... sorry... i'll
try to find it again...

this is still true...

you probably won't find any unless they are possibly related to CDN
(content delivery network) traffic coming from there... in any case, many
folks just aren't used to pulling information from a site other than the
one they are actually visiting... the thing is that this is how the web was
designed from the beginning ;)

yeah, there's a lot of places like that... you purchase a license to listen
to the music so it is like going to the store and buying them... the
problem that gets run into the the DRM (digital rights management) mess...
trying to copy that music to another machine and play there may be
problematic... perhaps the machine is a new one that you are upgrading to
and you simply want to move all your data, documents, and music to it...
this is one of the problems that DRM brings forth... it is a battle that
has raged for over a decade...

EV> Ed Did It! TM :-(

hahahaha... no, trying to wade through all those logs on a 80x25 screen
plus not being fully awake at that time is what did it... i felt better
after another 4 or 5 hours of sleep...

EV> Again, many thanks for showing interest in what bothered me.

you are welcome ;)
