A M”ebius strip is a single-sided surface which, by definition, has two
degrees of freedom, not one. In order to locate a point on the strip you
would have to specify two numbers (relative to an origin). The length and
width are not infinite. If you trace along the strip you will eventually
return to your starting point (obviously). What is interesting and
counter-intuitive is its single-sidedness.
