WE> Ancient universe: Open space/time finite in extent, hence edges to
WE> the world and a beginning or creation of time.

WE> Newtonian universe: Open space/time infinite in extent, hence no

Gerry, liking what you have said in general, PFMJILT and allow me a
 thought or two, ok?
GN> Personaly I like the thought that time is only a concept that man has
GN> created to explain the mysteries of memory.

That makes both of us and which I have tried to convey without much
 success! :)
GN> Time does not exist in this universe.

Never has and never will IMHO! :)
GN> All things are simply movement through space.

A very astute observation my friend! :)
GN> All mater is mearly changing form and location.

I believe that you mean matter, however, if you are referring to "basic
created matter", do you truly mean that it changes form?
GN> Now if want to use the argument of
GN> the speed of light and time dilation. The old theory where there are
GN> two brothers one goes off at the speed of light and comes back only
GN> aged acouple of years while his brother has aged 100 years. The brother
GN> going the speed of light gains more mass and that slows time. This to
GN> me is not a temporal reaction it is the effect of gravity on the
GN> subatomic particals. They mearly move through space at a diferent rate
GN> than the rest of the universe. This is a phisical phenomena not a
 GN> tempral one.

In as much as this is mere speculation IMHO, will not comment on it here!
GN> Although I find is rather dificult to express my oinion
GN> using a language based on time (Pasttence, present, future tence).

Expressing any opinion based on past, present and future is a most
difficult task IMHO! For in reality, there is only the moment IMHO!
GN> Einstine said that time and space are so intertwined they are
GN> vertually one. Why not just drop the time and keep the space?
HeeHee, how can we drop what does not exist and since when do we
have any choice as to whether or not we keep space or space keeps
 us? :)
As one joker said to the other, at least that makes a pair of us! :)
Just another humble servant of The Kingdom.......clarence.......
... NOW what have I dun went and broke? :'(
