 Glad you asked, since there is so often confusion on this.
PRO_AUDIO recently had someone post a message sending CAR_AUDIO
folks here, now they are trying to get the disc jockeys into their
own space. Because of the readically different needs and desires of
many car stereo folks as opposed to those desiring more "accurate"
reproduction became too much of a problem.
 There is a Fidonet CAR_AUDIO echo that can be carried by your BBS
system if they desire it. Hound your sysop to hook into it.Since it
exists, that topic is "topic duplication" here, so just keep your
discussion to general audio topics rather than auto specific.
 Other than that, this is the AUDIO echo, and we have entertained
discussion on hundreds of topics over they years in all aspects of audio
from home stereo to those that develop the neat toys you all get to play
with these days, concert and professional sound, recording, multimedia,
etc,
