subject: Re: IIGS Woz motherboard

The motherboards installed in IIgs' did not have the connectors on
them.

The 'Woz' edition was the first 50,000 units there abouts, they were
available in some areas up until a year later. The motherboard date
stamp should be xx86 to be within that manufacturing window.

Anyhow, the service part modules had both connector sets on them
because they would just stock the motherboard for use in either the //
e upgrade or the IIgs proper. If you find connectors in a IIgs it
means they swapped the board in the service dept. or somewhere along
the line someone did.
