We're soooo scared... in fact, so scared that about 30 years ago we told
you that your warships weren't welcome in our waters any more if they were
nuclear powered or carried nuclear weapons. You haven't been able to visit
here since(*). Maybe no big deal from your point of view, and the US has
certainly imposed many sanctions on us as a result, but we've accepted that
as the price of being able to live with ourselves.


(*)US Navy policy is to neither confirm nor deny that any given vessel is
nuclear powered or nuclear armed. It's a valid policy, it just means that
since the USN won't say that any given vessel is nuclear free, it cannot
visit.
