subject: Converting far pointers to Win32

I'm currently learning Visual C++ 5.0, and beginning to get the hang of
things. One thing that I'm having a lot of problems with (and can find little
documentation on) is converting some old routines that I have which use MK_FP
and specifically uses segments and offsets to access data structures in
memory.
The problem, specifically is with fossil routines in Win32 environments.
They
make fairly extensive use of segments and offsets, and it's blowing my mind.
:)
Any suggestions on how to convert a segment and offset (or just a far
ointer)
to the Win32 memory architecture!
Please help!
Thanks a bunch...
