TM> Hello moderator Dia,
TM> With all due respect, as moderator, do you feel that you have
TM> an obligation to be truthful ?
TM> If so, why do you continue to prevaricate about the legality of
TM> substances ?
You are being incredibly dishonest with this. Dia was mentioning one
drug, marijuana, and all of her states that you quoted above were in
regard to that.
TM> A truthful person would ADMIT that, unlike in the UK where you
TM> reside, laws vary from state to state, here in the USA.
TM> For instance, in the states of California, Arizona, and
TM> Virginia, certain herbs are legal for medicinal use, just like
TM> any other prescription drugs.
If you were as legally informed as you would have others believe, then
you would know that even though these states may have laws on the books
stating that possession is legal, the Federal Law supercedes the state
law and holds that possession of marijuana is illegal.
Since you are far from being that stupid, I must assume that you knew
that when you typed it. So, you were lying.
Either way, you are wrong.
TM> If you wish to declare certain medicinal herbs becuase of your
TM> personal prejudices that's fine. Fidonet rules say that you
TM> can make up any rule you want, and enforce it without any
TM> regard for truth, honesty, or fairness, that's fine. In fact,
TM> Fidonet encourages moderators to be arbitrary and unfair
TM> because democracy is NOT a tradition that is welcome in
TM> Fidonet.
Dia was not referring to **medicinal herbs** but marijuana which is an
illegal substance. Period.
TM> But to do so on the basis of some patently bogus allegations
TM> about the law is totally uninformed or dishonest and beneath
TM> you.
Pot. Kettle. Black.
TM> So why not be an HONEST TYRANT ? Do you really want to
TM> portray yourself as a prevaricating burocrat ? I'm sure you
TM> don't.
If Dia puts up with this and does not get your feed cut, then she has to
be the most liberal moderator in FIDO, and you should worship her feet.
I have been in FIDO for twelve years. I have never seen anyone survive
such a blatant challenge tothe moderatorship.
