Hi! Ed, On 10/15/2014 01:53 PM, you wrote: EV> I have been using the FOXIT PDF Reader for some time now and liked it EV> until this last Update. [ ...trimmed... ] EV> Are their any other Free PDF Readers than the three I've tried already? I asked a similar question over here in a local echo, Ed. Basically because I was disgusted with the long start up time for Foxit, seeming to take longer & longer to start every time I went to use it. (This is in my wife's XP-Home VirtualBox, BTW.) Even when it was loaded, the user experience was like moving & navigating in a fishbowl, with an awkward menu presentation. It got so bad that I was moving PDFs to a LAN share & using some sort of unnamed Linux PDF viewer to read the file(s), just to simply peek into them. Well, one of the blokes over here clued me into a neat _little_ viewer called something like PDFXViewer or PDF Xchange viewer, by an outfit called (unfortunately-named...) Tracker Software. It's installed at 31Mb! It loads up in a jiffy, and feels great. Try it. Of course, be careful with any additional 'overhead' software they may include... I can't recall what happened but I develop a nasty shoulder twitch whenever I download & install stuff in Windows these days, taking particular care with all the 'wizard'-like prompts, and I forget whatever hoops & hurdles I had to dodge with that one. I hope you like it too.
