I found this telling from the last site reference:

"If you look at the speciation events that are listed as evidence of
evolution, most of them will fall into the polyploidy plant category."

It's true that early 20th century experiments and observations were most
likely polyploidism or hybridization. But there are examples even within
those experiments that the author's "duplicate" process doesn't
wash. Examples include different chromosome pairs, reproduction across
genus, and creation of fertile growth from infertile products.

And the site ignores totally observed speciation outside polyploidism
("most of them" implies this actually).
