It is difficult for software publishers to ignore the huge
installed base of Windows 3.x users, so unless the software
publisher is willing to develop and support different versions
for the different operatings systems, they will try and find the
lowest common denominator under which a single version will
suffice. The lowest common denominator is Win3.x, which OS/2 can
run. As an example I offer up Microsoft's "Magic Schoolbus"
series of games, intended to be run under Win95, but the fine
print says Win3.1 will do. They work fine with OS/2 here.
