*** Quoting Albert Alcoceba from a message to Ryan Bagueros ***
AA> Your actions as an individual... now consider what would happen if
AA> *everyone* thought like you.
If everyone thought it was ok to steal from Microsoft? Really, the only two
effects I can think of are: a) Microsoft loses some of its power in the
social
and political arena, something no one could be upset about (a totalitarian
state or a totalitarian corporation are the same thing, especially in the
U.S.)
and b) Bill Gates has to stop eating lobster on Thursdays.
AA> It seems to me that you are a con artist and a thief. You probably
AA> would have no hesitation to steal a wealthy man's wallet. You make me
AA> sick.
Well, really you make me sick. You mindlessly accept whatever the
newspaper/corporation press release/politician says and use only that to base
your moral ground on. To suggest that Microsoft does nothing morally corrupt
is
an expression of flat-out naivete. And then to go and be their nameless,
faceless ideological warrior here on FidoNet just shows the extent of their
success.
