Interesting looking at his Sirius gigs: it really sounds live, but he's not
doing 12-hour sets six days a week.  They also have/had Barry
Whats-his-name, Greg on the Brady Bunch, doing afternoons on the 70's
station, and with him it was glaringly obvious that it was pre-recorded.
And he isn't any good, either.
