In the interests of balance, I would like to point out to all students here
that John has absolutely no idea what Gary B may or may not have studied
about evolution, and that his post below is in no way a response to the
points made in that which he quoted back.  That the scientific community
has a *belief* or *faith* in the unknown with regard to the development of
life from non-life and the subsequent evolution of that first life form to
modern man is completely obvious and does NOT require a PH.D in
evolutionary science to recognize.  It just requires an open mind and a
critical assessment of one's own views.  Sadly, this is something the
science community and atheist/agnostic left wingers in politics are
completely unwilling to either engage in themselves or tolerate in others.
