You mean an invisible guy?  Perhaps someone that materialized, threw the
snowball, and vanished beyond my sight in an instant?  Or perhaps the
snowball itself appeared via a wormhole in space on the precise trajectory
 from the visible kid, when in fact it was thrown by an alien on another
planet.

To which I reply, Occam's Razor.  Which is in itself a matter of faith.
