No idea really.  My experience is restricted to primarily drilling and logging
equipment. I was variously in warehousing, inventory and shipping for a
manufacturing facility. I picked up random things here and there, but
maintenance on pipelines wasn't part of it.

That might be possible, but it would depend on costs. It could be cheaper in
the long run to just replace it, figuring maintenance, etc.
