That sewage had to be at least secondary treated. One way or
another, you must have gotten enough $$$ to get a completely new set of
gear. I would not mind.
My SCUBA instructor used to dive in ocean harbors, cleaning
boats and finding stuff people lost (stainless steel wrenches, e.t.c.)
He told me that because there was very little water exchange between the
ocean and the harbor, and so all the crud from the streets accumulated
in the water, and then the red tide came in, making the visibility 0
feet! Sounds cool.
