you're only 19?  Wow!  I hope your having more fun at that age than i 
did - I went and got married and I definitely wasn't ready for it.
Have you ever gone to Al-Anon or Alateen?  It can be helpful for 
dealing with any kind of alcoholic and I can tell you that it helped me
a lot.  I married two alcoholics/addicts and lived with another for a 
few years before I got into Al-anon and it saved my life.  I realize 
that I was attracted to these people because they reminded me of my 
birth-mom who was a pill addict and very abusive.  (I made this 
connection after reading the books Women Who Love Too Much and Letters 
From Women Who Love Too Much by Robin Norwood - also based on the 12 
steps of recovery used in Al-Anon but under the auspices of a different
program, relationships anonymous.  I have not heard of this program 
anywhere, except in her books.  But it has a LOT in common with Al-Anon
apparently)  Anyway, that and a couple of years of celibacy, without 
even a date, I got my head on straighter and I am now married to a man 
who doesn't drink at all and who is usually nice - even though lately 
he has been a pain where I sit down.  But i guess everyone is sometimes
and if they were perfect, they probably wouldn't be walking this earth 
for us to meet, date, marry or whatever.)
Al-Anon has been a great deal of help to me in dealing with PEOPLE 
period - not just alcoholics.
