Time is another coordinate with which to locate something.  I can define a
location in the three physical dimensions (relative to the Earth) by saying
I am at Lat. 41 degrees 18 minutes N, Long. 072 degrees 01 minutes W,
altitude 80 feet above MSL, and then in the fourth dimension, time, as
8:15PM EST 14 November, 2005 CE.
