| subject: | who is the USR distributor in Austr |
On Monday July 15 1996, Arthur Marsh wrote to all ... AM> Could anyone post details of the USR distributor in Australia, and the AM> Austel approval number for the USR Courier V.34+? Modem Connection is the Australian USR distributor. Their voice phone number is (02) 9482-6557. Their Web address is http://www.modemconnection.com.au. As for the Austel approval number, I have no idea where to even find it. I posted a message about this the other day. Are there any USR V.34+ Couriers which are NOT Austel approved? I wonder whether my Courier is Austel approved or not. Since it came from the Australian USR distributor, one would assume it is, but I have yet to find any evidence of this marked somewhere on the base of the modem. Other than the information panel, all I have is a sticker with a serial number printed on it.
