Telnet is a way of calling BBS,s over the internet.
First the BBS that you want to call must be connected to the internet.
Then if you want to Telnet to it you logg on to your internet ISP. Then
you use a Telnet client to connect with that BBS. TFW is a very good
Telnet client. There are more than one way of doing it but I will list
a simple way that I use. First go in to config and set the connect
device to Telnet. Then make a phone book entry for the BBS and instead
of a phone # list the internet address of the BBS. Also in the phone
book entry set the connect device for that entry to Telnet. There are
a lot of things that can be fine tuned after you get the simple
connection setup working. I have found out that I have better results
if I connect to my ISP before I launch TFW.
