 It occurs to me, that some of the posting is done, not because 
the post actually believes that drivel, but because he simply is 
out to see if he can rile up us 'civilized' philosophers.  There 
is also the possibility that the poor soul is attempting to gain 
some company for his misery. 
 
There is the well known psychological tenet, that lacking ability 
to get positive attention, praise, that most will seek to get any 
attention that they can, damnation being perfectly adequate as a 
substitute. 
 
The true philosopher should be content with no attention at all. 
 
Although, as you suggest Frank, your cameraderie is enjoyable; in 
the world I live in, there are no others familiar with classics, 
and it is nice to bounce ideas around in more concise form based 
on all the nomenclature they have left us, rather than having to 
constantly allegorize every idea to get it across.
