I've been ignoring the statements about "the development of life from
something not alive", but perhaps it is time to point out that no
scientist has ever done more than SPECULATE about that particular point.
For example, Richard Dawkins has written about some conceivable mechanisms
by which the first life might have started, but he has very clearly
labelled such writing as speculation and not science.

The issue of how the first life was created is NOTHING to do with evolution.
