Depends on the game and how they access the disk - DOSbox does do some
directory
caching so something like LORD 2 doesn't work brilliantly, but Global
Backgammon
works great.

I even run a second BBS software (Waffle BBS) as a door through DOSBox - works
fine.

Sometimes I don't necessarily see new mail without logging on again if it has
been
delivered by the mail poller running on another box whilst I've been logged on,

but that's about it.
