The problem for us is because we have two cats and live in a college town, landlords get all freaked out. Never mind that my wife and I are both mature adults with a good rental history with recommendations. God forbid any of the landlords found out about my ham radio hobby, then we'd probably be barred for life. However, I've found that we get treated better when we rent from a business than we rent from individuals, especially when it comes to getting the deposit back. Later, Sean ...
