Good day !
-=> No, it's shows the sotware prices and the ammount people can
 -=> spend on them.
-=> I don't want to annoy you with Eastern Europe's financial
 -=> situation, but with
MB> People CAN afford to buy software anywhere they are...because the best
 MB> software is free...
Some of them are, some of them are not. I haven't seen any good DOS or
Windows compatible free OS yet. Sure, there is Caldera OpenDOS, but it's
ven
worse in compatibility than M$ DOS.

MB> Have to agree on the
MB> companies paying for software, like on a per-user basis, but then
MB> again, according to you're logic, all companies are blood sucking
MB> pennie pinchers and this one is probably ripping you off too,
Not all of them are, and not to the same level. Some companyes may act nice
actually, if it worth it... For example I herard they released a new game
nd
to get people download the demo you can download a free copy of the game's
older sequel.

MB> Don't bitch about england sucking, because england
MB> kicks !@# Everything there rules, you guys get all the good
MB> stuff...Mr. Bean, the chemical brothers etc...
I'm not from England, I have never said that. I quoted a part at the
begginning of this letter, where I was talking about Eastern Europe. England
is on the other side of Europe, but no matter, I know you guys are not very
good at geography.
MB> You say how poor people are over there, well look
MB> at me, im using a damn 286!!!! And you know what??? I coudn't be
 MB> happier....
I said people are poor here. That's true for the average. And upgrading
our
hardware from a 286 to an acceptable 5x86 would cost about as much as buying

or 4 brand new games. You'd buy the games instead ???

MB> well,, so what you're saying is that piracy HELPS microsoft, yet you
MB> DONT want microsoft to succeed and have a personal grudge with Bill
MB> Gates as it seems every computer-ridden moron in the world does!
I have nothing against Bill himself, what I don't like is microsoft's
aggressive marketing strategies. When they have discounts or demo versions,
they are not worse than any other software developer.

MB> Get you're story straight for once, im convinced that you are just
rying
MB> to make excuses for you're (or others) stupidity.
I don't think pirating would be equal to stupidity. Maybe you are right, I'm
searching for excuses, but then again, if I can find good reasons for
irating
what's your problem ?

MB> Do you think Christopher Columbus said, "I don't have a good
MB> boat so i can't sail to discover america" no...he used what he had,
With the help of the king. He almost got killed for his idea of the earth
being round. But how does this comes here ?
MB> It is a total LIE that people only develop for
MB> Windows/DOS, even back in the 80's/early 90's when DOS was king!!
They don't only develop for that, but it's much easier and cheaper to buy a
C
with windows etc and use that, compared to alternatives. That's why most
people buy these, even if they waste resources and have lots of compatibility
problems.
MB> theres a good thought! Microsoft will make more money if people steal
MB> there software!!! Ya know...why don't we talk ever about Borland
MB> sucking so much, or Br0derbound or freaking Id Software!!! All of them
MB> do the SAME thing as microsoft, it's just that gates is a better
 MB> business man,
I agree, but Id and the other game developers usually have demo/shareware
versions enough for some fun, which are free. I haven't seen any microsoft
trial version recently, they don't want people to know what they are buying.

-=> - you get online support (which is quite shitty here)
MB> microsoft.com is located in Washington USA, guess what??? we speak
MB> the same language here in the USA, use the same software...if ms
MB> support there sucks there than it sucks here
Not necessarily. In the US they have a toll free number, 'cause they have so
many customers there. But for a few thousand people they don't care to make

good support line. The official language is not English here, so they have
o
translate Win95 etc, and this translation makes it hard to use the same
support staff as in the US.

-=> Just like M$ internet explorer
-=> has more security bugs than any other product I know about.
MB> Well stupid....if you think a web browser has more "bugs" (lets say
MB> flaws) than any "product" (lets say software) you know of, i don't
MB> know where the hell you have been for the past 20 years!!!!
I said _security bugs_ ! Who the hell cares if a program hangs once in a
while, but if it allows people to download or corrupt anyting on your system
while you are browsing the web than it's a serious bug.

MB> you're a warez kiddie no matter how old you are...
Yeah sure. And you are Bill Gates himself. Convinced ?
Than why should I be ?
Say goodbye.
                                          Daniel
... Meghalt Matyas kiraly, kis helyen is elfer.
