I can't recall the name, but he played the butler, caretaker of two
little kids in a series.  Right size, distingushed enough to have worked
on Wall Street, right age... (at least at that time he would have been
the right age.

Some one else as Travis might be Roseanne's ex-husband.  He's doing some
fine work these days.
