Hi Wilfred!

How are the homes in your part of the world heated? I am guessing there not
many chimneys. The 6" or 8" opening for the chimney pipe will not provide a
high opportunity for leaves to get in there. One leaf (or piece of) is not
enough to cause a chimney fire. However, creosote left to harden and thicken,
would.

I am reading that Netherland is switching to hydrogen gas everywhere.
