Currently, that's true, but of course various scientists are busy working on the "first life forms" problem as well. I don't see why you worry about science. If someone came out tomorrow with a knockout proof that if you take a certain mix of chemicals, and process it in a certain way, then life will pop out ... well so what? This demonstration doesn't deny that God may very well have used exactly that mechanism to create life in the first place. In fact, to create a coherent universe where humans can explore, the above is EXACTLY what God would have done. If you are omnipotent, why make a bunch of chemicals then add some magic to make life, when you could simply design the chemicals so that under certain conditions life forms would be created?
