A few other people seem to be having the same problem, but there seems to be no
pattern to it. I'll pass along the information to Jon Guthrie who does a lot of
the SNIPPETS server maintenance and who's a lot more conversant on network
issues than I. Regardless, don't expect a fix until tomorrow at the earliest.
Mrs. Stout and I are going to the opera this evening and I won't have a chance
to discuss this with Jon before then. By the time I get home, well, Jon observes
what I consider to be an obscenely early bedtime, so he won't get to it until
tomorrow evening.
