Try Y11 and you should get attenuation vs frequency characteristics

of your line (in -dB) but it doesn't work after hangup. The range of

frequencies depends on modulation type.

I haven't seen a fax software supporting class 2.0 yet. Doesn't mean

they don't exist, just they aren't very popular. BGFAX is an

exeption but not much good for Win users.
