Hi All,
Aluminum needs to be thermal cycled in order to make a good optic. I've
used liquid nitrogen then went to a low temp oven. Letting the piece come
to ambient temp between . 3-5 times is best
I found that 1 micron diamond slurry and fairly hard pitch was the best for
aluminum. Using windex as water to keep it wet.
